● As the domestic construction market of Korea expected to shrink in the future, domestic construction companies are facing a situation where they need to open a new road through entering the overseas. ● The ODA(Official Development Assistance)-financed construction projects are a way for Korean construction companies to enter overseas markets with relatively little risk. However, the current proportion of ODA-financed orders to total overseas construction orders is only one or two percent of the total overseas construction orders. ● Considering the environmental changes in the overseas construction market, it is necessary to strengthen the contribution of ODA to the national interest and to develop a new ODA model that can actually support the PPP(Public-Private Partnership) project.
